Natasha Krause brings to Liberty Med a combination that is genuinely uncommon: the clinical grounding of a trained Medical First Responder, the academic foundation of a Health Science degree in progress at the University of Manitoba, and a deeply personal commitment to making quality healthcare accessible and navigable for every person who walks through the door — regardless of how complex their situation, or how unfamiliar the system feels to them.

As a Compression and Bracing Fitter and Office Assistant, Natasha is often one of the first people a customer speaks with — and she understands that this first interaction sets the tone for their entire experience. Whether a customer arrives with a physician's referral and specific clinical requirements, a therapist's recommendation they need help understanding, or simply a need they are not quite sure how to describe, Natasha listens carefully, asks the right questions, and guides them toward products and solutions that genuinely fit their body, their condition, and their daily life.

Her training as a Medical First Responder with St. John Ambulance gives her a practical, body-level understanding of human anatomy and an ability to stay calm, focused, and helpful under pressure — qualities that translate directly into the clinical confidence and patient care she brings to every interaction. Her ongoing Health Science studies at the University of Manitoba deepen that foundation continuously, ensuring her product guidance and clinical conversations reflect current, evidence-informed knowledge.

Natasha manages appointment scheduling at Liberty Med, working to ensure that every customer who needs access to a custom fitter, clinical specialist, or any of Liberty Med's specialized services can book quickly, easily, and without unnecessary friction. She also handles insurance information and coverage determinations on behalf of customers — navigating the administrative complexity of coverage documentation, prior authorization, and claims processes so that patients do not have to spend their energy on paperwork when they should be focused on their health. She has developed a strong working knowledge of the insurance processes most encountered by Liberty Med's customers, and takes personal ownership of making that process as barrier-free as possible.

Outside of her clinical and administrative role, Natasha is a passionate advocate for women's health and for equal, meaningful access to quality healthcare — with particular focus on individuals living with chronic conditions and invisible disabilities. She understands from a deeply informed perspective that healthcare systems do not always make it easy for people whose conditions are not immediately visible, and she brings that awareness, sensitivity, and genuine advocacy into every customer interaction at Liberty Med.

A former provincial-level track and field athlete who competed in the pentathlon, Natasha brings the same discipline, precision, and commitment to process that competitive sport demands into everything she does professionally. When she is not at the clinic or studying, she can be found in the weight room or immersed in a book.
